I was asked to go down and get some behind the scene and performance shots at Proud Cabaret. I honestly have no idea how those guys and gals manage to get their tights on and feel so confident when hitting the stage, it was so incredibly hot backstage!
Proud itself is an awesome venue – very plush and really lends itself to that Speakeasy feel. I had a really good evening and even managed to photograph an insanely romantic marriage proposal. It certainly opened my eyes up to alternative things to do in London – must take some friends down there.
Also playing were an excellent 50′s swing band – The Milkshakers. Check them out, they’re really, really good.
