About Emma

Having worked as a Picture Editor in magazine publishing and stock in the food sector previous to going full time with photography, I have an editorial eye for composition but my heart also lies with documentary photography so my approach incorporates the two resulting in a contemporary but timeless style. In addition, my experience in stock results in having a good understanding of what imagery you need to sell your brand.

I’m primarily a food and portrait photographer but also take on select commercial projects. I’m based in Lewes, at the foot of the South Downs, but work regularly in London and Brighton and happy to travel. If you want to discuss a project please get in touch and I’m happy to send you more samples of relevant work if you need it. You can see a more detailed portfolio on the blog, categories are to the right hand side.

I have a bulk of readily available work (landscapes, documentary, still life) which is suitable for album and book covers on file – get in touch with what you’re looking for.

I have an interest in the origins of food and write a personal food blog.
